Onest is the first Moldovan made typeface created with a mere goal — to make communication between the state and the citizen honest and understandable. Also, to bring Moldova’s image closer to that of a modern, open country.

In seven fonts, from thin to extra bold, Onest is designed as a hybrid of geometric and humanistic grotesques. The neutral forms of the graphemes inherit the ideas of the modernist neo-grotesques of the second half of the 20th century.

The font combines capaciousness and legibility, so it saves space without losing readability. For all its versatility, Onest allows text to keep its individuality. All thanks to alternative symbols that set the tone and even the character of the message.
