Sometimes it’s very difficult to think of a name for a custom typeface after you’ve figured out every single shape of a letter or number. Then I have an “unknown” and “untitled” font.
I created the font available here in order not to get a bang with stupid routine work (cropping hundreds of pictures). What was I thinking when I saw this writing? Was there a template for this or was it just imagination? Phanta-you, and thought? Nope, just tinkered like that, to calm down while snipping pictures. So that the concentration is not reduced too much. The name fits and sometimes the solution in a conversation with friends is closer than you think. However, this name is no coincidence: “Phanta-Du” is that little devil in your head with whom you are on first name terms, but who constantly wants to keep you from commissioned work with a time limit…. The little devil is already in When I was at school, the teachers annoyed me because I was constantly drawing, there was a word-heavy lesson, something like history, whole comics, but strangely enough that also helped me to stay on task better during the lesson, and the teacher was always floored , when I had to repeat his sentences and could repeat them to show that I was listening, even though I was drawing completely different stories at the same time. He never figured it out the way I do it. And my contact saw that as a wonderful gift. And so I hereby give you a beautiful Phanta-Du full font for beautiful imaginative texts.
