How outstanding! Kritik Display Sans Serif Font, The first design of Kritik was specially made for an architecture magazine and developed further over time. Reflecting the magazine’s subject and theme, this typeface was designed with angular characters contrasted with round and soft basic forms; adding on elements to an already existing scaffold, a process akin to constructing a building.
The name comes from the German word “Kritik,” meaning criticism. Criticism can be hard and destructive, or soft and constructive, and in Kritik, both conditions have been turned into one typeface. This produced a type family consisting of 7 weights: Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold and Black.
