Transit CAT Font, This is again a sign painter’s font, which, similar to the old DIN 1451, is constructed with an auxiliary grid. Such fonts were used a lot for vehicle lettering, especially on vehicle doors. They could be cut into tinfoil glued to the sheet metal with sugar water and then painted.
