Bones is a crime procedural comedy-drama directed by Hart Hanson. It had a total of 12 seasons with 246 episodes, with a running time of forty-three minutes each. The series shows a professional and personal relationship between a forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Bones Brennan and an F.B.I special agent Seeley Booth. They work together as a team to solve mysteries in crime. Throughout the series, they show us that if a forensic doctor and an FBI agent team up, the murderers can be brought in front of the law in no time. The series shows how logical a doctor can be and how crooked a murderer can think. And of course, how smoothly an F.B.I can handle them both.

WHAT FONT WAS USED IN POSTER?

The font used for the Bones poster is the same as the Eurostile Font.

  1. This font is similar, but it is not Eurostile. First, most of the Eurostile font faces aren’t stencils. Only 1 is.
Just in the word bones, you can see multiple differences.
Firstly, Eurostile has a much heavier weight than the font from the poster.
Then, when we get into letter details, the O, N, and S are all different.
Eurostile’s O is just a rounded edge square O with a stencil bridge down the center as opposed to the hexagon used in the poster.
Eurostile’s N has the stencil bridges running diagonal with the center stroke of the N as opposed to running vertical with the outer strokes like the poster.
Finally, the S in Eurostile has the negative space split the character at 3 points, whereas the poster only has a split at the top and bottom.

It may have used Eurostile as its Bones (hehehe), but it has been heavily modified and Eurostile’s stencil font is not very unique anyway.
