The Clearing is an upcoming Australian eight-part psychological thriller television series produced for Disney+ and inspired by the dark and haunting story of a real-life cult with a female leader. The series will premiere on 24 May 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu. Directed by Jeffrey Walker and Gracie Otto, it is based on the best-selling book by J.P. Pomare and stars Miranda Otto, Teresa Palmer and Guy Pearce.
