Vampirina is an Irish-American computer-animated children’s television series created by Chris Nee. Based on the Vampirina Ballerina series of books written by Anne Marie Pace and published by Disney-Hyperion, the series was announced in March 2016 and premiered on Disney Junior on October 1, 2017. It features much of the staff that has worked on another program created by Nee, Doc McStuffins. In January 2018, a second season was announced by Disney, which premiered on December 7, 2018.A third season was announced on September 7, 2018.
