Kabel Sans Serif Font is a sans-serif typeface intended by German designer Rudolf Koch, and released because of the Klingspor foundry from 1927 onwards.
Kabel belongs towards the “geometric” kind of sans-serifs, which was getting well known in Germany for the time of Kabel’s creation.
Primarily based loosely about the structure from the circle and straight lines, it even so applies many uncommon design and style selections, such as a delicately small x-height (though larger during the bold bodyweight), a tilted ‘e’ and irregularly angled terminals, so as to add delicacy and an irregularity suggesting classy calligraphy, of which Koch was a professional.
Several different rereleases and digitisations happen to be produced.
