Hyperlac Font, designed in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the Hyperlac typeface is a tribute to ten years of life in the L.A.C. squat. It is based on stamps found in an uninhabited house, then inhabited for 7 years by Bisou and his friends. The stamps were used to make the cute and punk posters for the concerts organized by the collective. The new version keeps the punch of its history, Hyperlac Font is an impactful and impertinent typeface, modern and versatile.
When redesigning the stamps, Bisou discovered surprisingly soft details that make this typeface rich in discreet subtleties. These small variations make it human and warm. The digital version makes it perfect for record sleeve titles or concert posters.
