Brikton is a Slab serif typeface with a combination of bold and slightly playful characteristics. Glyphs like d, h, m, and n don’t end with a serif like most slab typefaces, but follow the tail of the letter a, creating a playful characteristic. Furthermore, the left inner serif (for example, on the letter n) is extended and cut at an angle to compensate for the space within the letter, preventing it from appearing empty. Diagonal glyphs like A, K, R, V, W, X, Y, k, v, w, x, and y don’t have serifs but follow the sans serif form, with the ends cut off and an inner serif added on one side. Brikton’s character is ideal for designs that emphasize text as the main element, such as displays, titles, and even logos.
