Velmorah is a narrow, all-caps display face with a gothic, hand-cut edge.
The stems pinch in at the middle and flare out into sharp, thorn-like spurs, and the round letters are built from angular facets instead of smooth curves, so O, D and Q look whittled rather than drawn. Each letter carries a slight wobble, which gives the alphabet an old, crooked feel without losing its upright rhythm.
Picture it carved into the sign above the gate of an overgrown manor, the paint long gone and the wood gone grey.
The font is built with advanced OpenType functionality and guaranteed top-notch quality, containing stylistic and contextual alternates, ligatures and more automatic and manual features; all to give you full control and customizability.
It has extensive lingual support, covering all Latin-based languages, from North Europa to South Africa, from America to South-East Asia. It contains all characters and symbols you’ll ever need, including all punctuation and numbers.
