Y Clover Font Family: The design concept of Y Clover is inspired by the shape of a four-leaf clover. This motif is integrated into character components, creating a unique look with a bouncy charm from its curved strokes. It features resilient curved strokes in initial Korean consonants like ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, and ㅅ to suggest active writing. The four-leaf clover shape is also playfully included in the vowels ㅗ, ㅜ and the internal space of consonants ㅂ, ㅍ.

The typeface is available in two weights: Bold and Regular. The Bold weight is designed to be thick and eye-catching for titles, while the Regular weight is intended for subheadings or main text. The font has carefully adjusted letter spacing (자간) for each weight to ensure evenness. The visual centre of the characters flows from the middle towards the top.

Y Clover supports a comprehensive range of characters, including:

Korean: 2,350 base characters and 430 additional characters.
English: 94 Basic Latin characters with Kerning. The English alphabet design reflects the curved characteristics of the Korean characters for a unified aesthetic. Notably, the shape of the lowercase ‘i’ changes depending on the weight (Bold or Regular).
KS Symbols: 986 characters designed to harmonise with the Korean and English sets. This set includes a variety of symbols, punctuation, numbers, and some non-Korean characters. Numbers also incorporate the Korean design characteristics.
Icons: A unique set of 40 graphic icons, designed with a four-leaf clover shape. When the Bold font file is installed, 36 of these icons are available. These icons can be accessed by typing specific, less commonly used Korean characters that evoke the icon’s name.
The typeface is supported on most widely used operating systems, such as windows, Mac OSX, Unix, and windows CE.

Regarding its license, Y Clover is offered completely free of charge to all users, including both individuals and corporate users. It is permitted for commercial use across various applications, such as printing, website design, video production, embedding in digital devices, and product packaging.

However, certain restrictions apply:

Modification of the font file is prohibited.
Selling the font file is prohibited.
It cannot be used for Brand Identity / Corporate Identity (BI/CI) purposes.
