The Planet Crafter is a single-player, first-person survival action adventure game developed by French studio Miju Games.
The game’s premise is simple. You are alone on a planet that you must terraform.
Terraforming or terraformation is the hypothetical process of deliberately modifying the atmosphere, temperature, surface topography or ecology of a planet, moon, or other body to be similar to the environment of Earth to make it habitable by Earth-like life.
Your goal is to increase the Terraformation Index score and accomplish various stages of planetary development. You do this by building machine that increase Oxygen, Heat, and Pressure. The tech tree unlocks as you increase your Terraformation Index. And, tech items unlock under all three categories, so you must balance what you are doing to gain access to items.
In order to build machines, you must have available power. If your power requirements exceed your available power, everything stops working until you increase power production beyond the minimum required amount.
Building machines, and the power required, will increase your Terraformation Index score. Raising the score progresses you through the various Terraformation stages.
